VegVoyages Foundation purchased 70 sets of tables and benches (which provides seating for 3 students in each set) for a local girls’ school in Rajasthan, India. There are 210 students at the school from the nearby villages. Prior to this, there were no tables and chairs in the classroom, so students have to sit on the floor. This had cause their low attendance at school, because parents do not want to send their kids to the school, and the kids also refusing to go. We hope now, these tables and benches provide more comfort in the learning process, and the students will feel more motivated to study.
